Today, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) was being conducted across the country. This exam was to start at 2 pm. Lakhs of students across the country were leaving their homes since morning and heading towards the examination centers to appear in this important examination. In Delhi too, a large number of students and their parents were on the streets to reach various examination centres. In such a situation, there was a possibility that traffic on some major roads of Delhi would be affected due to the movement of the Prime Minister’s convoy. Roads are often blocked for some time due to the passing of the Prime Minister’s convoy, which can cause inconvenience to the general public. In view of this possible problem, Prime Minister Modi delayed leaving from Delhi airport. Their objective was that the students going to appear for NEET exam should not face any kind of hindrance in reaching their centers on time and they should not have to face unnecessary delays.
