Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Tarakeswar, West Bengal on Saturday. He also addressed a public meeting. A large number of people had come to listen to him. During this period, the 23rd installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) Scheme was also released.

Under this, an amount of more than Rs 18,880 crore was sent through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the bank accounts of more than 9.44 crore farmer families across the country.

In the public meeting, PM Modi said that the dream that was seen for the bright future of Bengal after independence, which was envisioned by the great souls of Bengal, today, for the first time, on West Bengal Day, we are seeing those dreams turning into reality.

Let this historical date become an inspiration for the development of West Bengal, let us create a new and glorious history, today a mega campaign of development is being started in the NDA government for this.

Some people who came to listen to PM Modi’s public meeting spoke to IANS. Gopal Upadhyay said that after the tireless work of PM Modi, good days are being seen. After the formation of double engine government here, entire India along with Bengal became safe.

Infiltration was continuously increasing in the previous government. We are very happy that PM Modi has come here on Bengal Day. Now that the double engine government has come, we are seeing that in just a few days, development work has started in all the areas.

In the previous governments, work did not speak, only terror spoke. We want to tell PM Modi that the previous governments have hollowed out Bengal. Beautify West Bengal like India.

Another person said that we are fortunate that PM Modi has come here. Our PM has come to celebrate Bengal Day and development works are being done at a fast pace. Many schemes have been launched. A lot of work will be done in the double engine government, we have full confidence. We want that the factory which was closed earlier should be started.

A woman said that the people’s government has been established with the blessings of the people of Bengal. The double-engine government has gained double speed in Bengal to carry out development work.

Another woman said that we are proud that PM Modi has come. He works with good intentions regarding development and fulfills what he says. He had claimed to form the government and it was fulfilled.
