Emphasis on increasing the income of farmers through natural farming, Minister Swatantra Dev Singh pledged for developed agriculture.

“Natural Farming Workshop and Developed Agriculture Resolution Campaign” was organized on Friday in District Panchayat Auditorium, Prayagraj. State Government Minister Swatantra Dev Singh was present as the chief guest in the program. During this, he motivated the farmers to adopt natural farming and said that natural farming not only reduces the cost of farming but also increases the income of the farmers by increasing the fertility of the soil.

Addressing the program, Minister Swatantra Dev Singh said that the Central and State Governments are continuously making efforts to strengthen the economic condition of farmers and make the agriculture sector self-reliant. He said that through natural farming, dependence on chemical fertilizers and pesticides will be reduced, which along with environmental protection will provide healthy and quality food grains to the people.

In the workshop, agricultural experts gave detailed information about various aspects of natural farming, use of organic fertilizers, water conservation, soil health management and measures to achieve higher production at lower cost. Farmers were also made aware about the benefits of natural farming and various agricultural schemes run by the government.

On this occasion, MP Praveen Patel, MLAs, Legislative Council Member (MLC), District President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Mayor, various public representatives, officials, Agriculture Department officials, farmers and a large number of workers were present. At the end of the program, the people present resolved to promote natural farming and work in the interest of farmers to make the agricultural sector more advanced, prosperous and self-reliant.
