Harshit Rana returns to the team after recovering from injury
Harshit Rana was away from cricket due to injury for a long time. He completed his rehabilitation at the BCCI Center of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru and successfully passed the fitness test. After being declared fit, he has joined the Indian team in Chennai. This will be his first international assignment after January 2026. Due to injury, he could not even participate in IPL 2026.
Important opportunity before upcoming foreign tours
Harshit Rana has also got a place in the Indian T20 team for the tour of Ireland and then England later this month. In such a situation, a possible opportunity in the third ODI against Afghanistan would be a great opportunity for him to gain momentum in international cricket.
