RPSC SI 2025 Result: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), Ajmer, has officially declared the written exam results for the Sub-Inspector/Platoon Commander Competitive Examination-2025. According to the notification issued by the RPSC, a total of 20,455 candidates have been shortlisted for the physical test based on this written examination. Candidates can view the results by visiting the official website.

Candidates who secured the minimum qualifying marks in this examination—conducted for the Home (Group-1) Department covering both scheduled and non-scheduled areas—have been declared provisionally successful for the next stage, i.e., the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Why were 1,744 candidates declared ineligible?
Along with the results, the Commission has shared a crucial piece of information. Due to RPSC's strict regulations, 1,744 candidates have been declared ineligible.

According to the specific instructions in the advertisement, if a candidate fails to mark any of the five provided options for more than 10 percent of the questions, they are deemed ineligible. These 1,744 candidates committed this specific error on their OMR sheets; consequently, their roll numbers have been listed separately from the main list and published on the website.

Exam held on April 5 and 6
The Commission conducted this combined competitive examination for the posts of Sub-Inspector and Platoon Commander on April 5 and 6 of this year. It was an objective-type examination comprising Paper I and Paper II.

Key details regarding the Physical Efficiency Test
Who will conduct the test: Successful candidates will be invited for the Physical Efficiency Test by the Director General and Inspector General of Police, Rajasthan (Jaipur).
Schedule: The detailed schedule for the physical test will be issued and announced by the Police Department in due course.

Eligibility verification: The Commission has clarified that the verification of eligibility for successful candidates has not yet been conducted; this verification will take place at the time of the interview. The results of some candidates have also been withheld.
The Commission has issued a special note regarding the results of specific roll numbers:

Roll Number 1640138: The result has been kept in a sealed cover pursuant to an interim order by the Hon'ble Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur (Civil Writ Petition No. 6121/2026).

Roll Number 1397076: The result of this candidate will be subject to the final verdict in the Hon'ble High Court's Writ Petition No. 7438/2026.
Roll Number 1419021: The result of this candidate has been withheld due to administrative reasons.
