Business Desk – SBI PO Notification 2026 Out: The country’s largest government bank, State Bank of India (SBI) has released the official notification for Probationary Officer (PO) Recruitment 2026. Under this recruitment drive, appointments will be made on 1500 Probationary Officer (PO) posts across the country. The online application process has started. Interested candidates can apply till 8 July 2026.

SBI PO 2026 recruitment has been issued under advertisement number CRPD/PO/2026-27/09. The bank aims to recruit 1500 probationary officers for various branches across the country. Category wise details of the posts have been provided in the official notification.

Online applications for SBI PO 2026 have started from 18 June 2026. The last date to apply and deposit fees is 8th July 2026. The preliminary exam is likely to be conducted in August 2026, while the main exam will be conducted in September 2026.
Who can apply?
Candidates who have passed graduation from a recognized university can apply for this recruitment. As per general eligibility, the age of the candidate should be between 21 to 30 years. Reserved categories will get age relaxation as per government rules.
There will be many stages in the selection process
The selection process of SBI PO recruitment will be completed in several stages. It includes Preliminary Examination (Prelims), Mains Examination (Mains), Psychometric Test, Group Exercise and Interview. Candidates successful in all stages will be appointed on the basis of final merit.
