Leeds United are reportedly assessing options to strengthen their midfield ranks, with Southampton’s Shea Charles emerging as a prime target valued at around £20 million. According to reports from the Daily Mail, the Yorkshire club has shown interest in signing the Northern Ireland international, while Manchester United are also believed to be monitoring the situation. Southampton are said to have placed a similar valuation on the 20-year-old midfielder.

Meanwhile, on the outgoing front, Fiorentina are not expected to pursue a permanent deal for Leeds winger Jack Harrison following his loan spell in Italy. As per TuttomercatoWeb, the Serie A side have decided against making the move permanent due to the high wage demands associated with the player.

Leeds United concluded last season in 15th place in the Premier League and are now preparing for their second consecutive campaign back in the top flight. Manager Daniel Farke is anticipated to refine his squad further to better equip them for the upcoming challenges.

During the previous season, Shea Charles made 38 appearances for Southampton, netting six goals, one of which came in the Championship play-off semi-final against Middlesbrough. His consistent performances have made him one of the most sought-after young midfielders in English football.

On the other hand, Jack Harrison featured for Fiorentina during the latter half of the season on loan, scoring once in 22 appearances across all competitions. With both incoming and outgoing moves under consideration, Leeds appear set for a busy transfer window as they look to strengthen their squad depth and balance their wage structure ahead of the 2026–27 season.
