Growing a tree in a pot is not an easy task. For this one should be able to make perfect use of manure, soil and water. Recently, gardening expert Rani Anshu shared some useful tips for gardeners. If you also want to grow a coriander tree in a pot, then you can plant a tree at home using these smart tricks.

The Secret of Seed Preparation

A common mistake many people make while planting coriander is to plant coriander directly from the market or kitchen into the soil. This causes the coriander plant to not sprout quickly and then it rots. According to experts, before sowing coriander, the coriander should be placed on a flat surface and lightly crushed with a rolling pin or a heavy object. Do not paste the coriander, just cut them in two.

Good soil

No soil is needed to grow a tree. Coriander needs very fertile and humus soil to stay fresh. For this, add plenty of well-rotted dung and vermicompost to the soil and mix it. Manure provides a lot of nitrogen to the soil which helps in keeping the leaves green. Due to this, the tree grows quickly. At the same time vermicompost helps to retain moisture in the soil and strengthen the roots.

Method of burying seeds

Rani Anshu said that while planting a tree, many people just spread its seeds on top of the soil. But this is wrong. While planting coriander plant, make small holes in the soil and add some pieces of crushed coriander, top again with light soil and fill the holes well. By doing this, when the seedlings emerge, they will grow together from the very beginning to form a dense bush.

Keep an eye on moisture

Always keep an eye on soil moisture while growing coriander plant. Never add too much water to the pot; Instead, water with a spray bottle just enough to keep the soil moist. Do not make the mistake of uprooting the coriander plant when it grows 5 to 6 inches. Always cut the top leaves and stems with scissors. This causes new branches to sprout from the cut branch.
