The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has announced that the application process for recruiting 398 personnel—including Junior Assistants and Stenographers—will commence on June 22, 2026.

The UKSSSC has issued an official notification for recruitment to various posts. A total of 398 vacancies across the state will be filled through this recruitment drive.

Appointments for Junior Assistant and Stenographer posts in various courts and departments will be made through this UKSSSC recruitment process. Of the total 398 posts, the highest number—230—are designated for Junior Assistants (Civil Courts).

The age limit for applicants is set between a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 35 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in accordance with state government rules.

Candidates applying for the recruitment must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university or institution. Additionally, proficiency in the Hindi language is required.

Furthermore, for Stenographer and Personal Assistant posts, candidates must possess a Hindi shorthand speed of at least 80 words per minute and a computer typing speed of at least 25 words per minute.

Candidates will be selected based on a written examination and a skill test. According to information released by the Commission, the written examination will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering General Knowledge and General Studies. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply starting June 22, 2026. The deadline for applications is July 6, 2026. Additionally, candidates will be given an opportunity to rectify any errors in their application forms from July 8 to July 10, 2026.
