IndiGo launches airport cab service

IndiGo has launched a new airport transfer service called 'Cabs with IndiGo.' The innovative offering lets customers book cabs to and from airports in different Indian cities.

You can use the IndiGo website or mobile app for this purpose. The move is part of IndiGo's effort to expand its travel ecosystem beyond air travel services.

The new service provides fixed pricing for pre-booked rides, no cancellation fees if booked before the scheduled pick-up time, and a 30-minute wait time.

Plus, members of IndiGo's BluChip loyalty program will earn five BluChips for every ₹100 spent on a booking through Cabs with IndiGo.

The airline hopes this will enhance customer experience by providing additional travel services beyond air travel.

IndiGo's new service also seeks to address common problems like unavailability of drivers/riders for pick-ups, last-minute driver cancellations, and surge pricing.

Neetan Chopra, IndiGo's Chief Digital and Information Officer, said the launch is part of a strategy to provide customers with more travel services beyond air travel.

The service is available for immediate booking through IndiGo's digital channels.
