What does Nick Jonas like about Indian food
When she was asked about husband Nick Jonas's favourite Indian food too, she replied, "I think Nick's favourite Indian food is any kind of paneer".

Paneer's nutritional content
40 grams of low-fat cottage cheese or paneer provides 7.54 gm protein, 5.88 gm fat, 4.96 gm carbs, 37.32 microgram folates, 190.4 mg calcium, 132 mg phosphorus, and 50 mg potassium

Benefits of Paneer

It is rich in high-quality protein, essential for muscle growth and sustained energy throughout the day. Its slow-digesting nature keeps you full for longer, reducing cravings and aiding in weight loss and management. It is rich in calcium and phosphorus that help strengthen bones and teeth, making it a great option for all age groups. It also contains healthy fats that provide steady energy without spiking blood sugar levels, making it ideal for diabetics. Additionally, paneer is easy to digest and versatile, allowing you to prepare a variety of nutritious dishes like paneer bhurji, stuffed parathas, or salads for a wholesome and delicious start to the day.

6 easy paneer dishes to try at home

Paneer Bhurji: This is enjoyed as a side dish, where crumpled paneer is tossed with onions, tomatoes, green chillies, and spices in a frying pan, and makes for a quick, rustic, and flavourful dish. It tastes best with plain paratha or rumali roti.

Paneer Tikka: This snack dish is made with paneer cubes, marinated in curd, ginger-garlic paste, and spices, which are later grilled or air-fried. It makes for a smoky, flavourful appetizer.

Paneer Butter Masala: This is a popular main course dish, where tender paneer cubes are simmered in a rich tomato-based gravy flavoured with butter and aromatic spices. It is best enjoyed with naan or jeera rice.

Paneer Fried Rice: This dish is best made with leftover rice, where a tempering of oil, butter, onion, capsicum, and sauces along with paneer is cooked and further leftover rice is added to it. It's a quick one-pan meal.

Paneer Paratha: This is a popular breakfast dish, where whole wheat dough is stuffed with spicy paneer mixture and cooked on a preheated tawa using ghee or oil. It is best served with curd and pickle.

Chilli Paneer: It is a popular Indo-Chinese favourite, where fried crispy paneer cubes are combined with onions, capsicum, and a tangy-spicy sauce. It is best served with fried rice and noodles.
