From which it became clear that the problem was not limited to any one area but was troubling a large number of users.

Mobile app users face the most problems

According to the information received from DownDetector, about 40 percent of the complaints were to mobile apps. Regarding this, users said that the app was not working properly and many features were not responding. Along with this, 29 percent people faced problem in updating feed and timeline, while 18 percent users were not able to access the website. Some users also reported that posts were taking unusually long time to load.

X stalled for the second time in 24 hours

The interesting thing in this case is that this is the second time within the last 24 hours that X has gone down. Earlier on Tuesday evening, June 16, 2026, users had also complained about technical glitches on the platform. In such a situation, two consecutive problems have raised questions about the stability and technical infrastructure of the platform.
