Knews Desk- The political turmoil has intensified over allegations of donations to the Ram temple in Ayodhya and the alleged disappearance of precious Shri Ram stones. Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav raised serious questions on this matter and said that there should be an in-depth investigation as to which gang is behind the “big crime and big scam” in Ayodhya.

Akhilesh Yadav claimed in a social media post that during the Ram Mandir movement, information has come to light about the disappearance of about 1250 precious Shri Ram stones that came from India and abroad, which are said to be studded with gold, silver and gems. He also alleged that there were large-scale irregularities in the arrangements for these stones and donations.

A complaint has also been lodged amid this controversy. A person named Santosh Dubey has filed a complaint in the Ramjanmabhoomi police station alleging that there have been irregularities in the management of gold, silver, jewelery and cash donations given by the devotees in the temple. The complaint has alleged irregularities in accounting of donations and valuable items.

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to investigate this matter, which is continuously interrogating and investigating the temple premises. The team included senior IPS officers Vijay Vishwas Pant, S. Kiran and Special Secretary of the Finance Department Neel Ratan. It is being told that many people have been interrogated so far.

At the same time, opposition leaders have also cornered the government on this issue. Congress leaders have called it a betrayal of faith and demanded a high-level investigation. The matter is now becoming more politically heated amid allegations and counter-allegations.
