Iran’s head coach Amir Ghalenoui has said that his team has become the most troubled team of this tournament. Some support staff did not get visas on time, while players were also allowed to travel at the last minute. The team had initially planned to train in Tucson city of Arizona state of America, but later it had to go to Tijuana city of Mexico.

Coach Aamir Ghalenoui expressed his displeasure

After the match, Amir Ghalenaoui said that the team was earlier told that it could stay in America till Tuesday afternoon, so that the players could rest. But later this decision was changed. He said that the team is repeatedly facing new problems and this is affecting the preparation of the players. The coach also said that due to the absence of some essential staff members, the technical staff of the team has to do extra work. According to him, due to these conditions the Iranian team is facing more difficulties than other teams.

Mehdi Taremi also raised questions

Iran’s star footballer Mehdi Taremi also expressed displeasure over the situation. He said that there is constant pressure on the players and staff. According to Taremi, the team was told on the day of the match itself that they would have to leave America as soon as the match was over. He said that the team has been struggling with many problems for the last two months. This distracts the players from the game and affects their performance. Taremi sought help from FIFA and said that players should get a better environment so that they can perform at their best without stress.
