Developed with indigenous technology from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Island of Odisha Long Range Land Attack Cruise Missile (LRLACM) Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed happiness over the successful test of the missile and described it as a symbol of the growing strategic power and technical capability of self-reliant India.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that this missile developed completely with indigenous technology will provide new strength to India’s defense capabilities. He said that the successful testing of LRLACM is an important achievement in the defense research and development sector of the country, which will significantly increase the firepower and strategic strength of the Indian Forces.

The Chief Minister said that due to the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the determination of ‘Self-reliant India’, India is continuously setting new dimensions in the defense sector. Today the country is rapidly moving towards self-reliance in the field of defense production and is making a strong identity at the global level in the development of modern defense technologies.

He said that in the last few years, India has made unprecedented progress in defense research, missile technology, military equipment manufacturing and development of indigenous defense systems. The successful testing of LRLACM is another important achievement in this direction, which will further strengthen India’s strategic preparedness.

Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma heartily congratulated the scientists, engineers and all the experts associated with Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) for this achievement. He said that due to the commitment, hard work and spirit of innovation of the country’s scientists, India today stands among the leading countries of the world in the defense sector.
