World Blood Donor Day: CM Bhajanlal Sharma’s appeal – Your small effort can become the biggest hope of someone’s life.

On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, while wishing the people of the state, described blood donation as the greatest and most sacred act of human service. He appealed to all the citizens to take a pledge to donate blood and be a part of this public welfare campaign.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that blood donation is not only a social responsibility but also a donation of life to the needy. He said that our small effort can become the biggest hope of someone’s life. Through blood donation we can play an important role in saving the lives of unknown people.

He said that availability of blood is extremely essential for patients suffering from accidents, childbirth, serious surgeries and diseases like thalassemia. In such times, the contribution of a blood donor is no less than that of an angel. Blood donation gives new hope and new life to many families.

The Chief Minister said that the Rajasthan Government is ensuring proper arrangements for safe blood donation in all the government hospitals and blood banks of the state, so that blood can be made available to the needy patients on time.

Appealing to the youth, the Chief Minister said that every healthy person between the age of 18 to 65 years can donate blood every three months. A single blood donation can help save the lives of three people. He said that the youth should come forward and give the blood donation campaign the form of a mass movement.

Appealing to the people of the state, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, let us all take a pledge to donate blood regularly and ensure our participation in this great work of human service. Donate blood, donate life and set an example of service and sensitivity in the society.
