Jaipur. Protest in Jaipur against the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. CJP founder Abhijit Deepke has been slapped by two youths. After this, the party supporters caught the two youths who slapped them and beat them up. According to eyewitnesses, when Abhijit Deepke reached the Martyr Memorial, his supporters lifted him on their shoulders. Meanwhile, a young man present in the crowd reached him and slapped him.

Let us tell you that during the demonstration of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) on Monday at the Martyr Memorial of the capital, there was an uproar when the party’s founder Abhijit Deepke was slapped by a young man. After the incident, the supporters caught the young man and beat him up. The police present at the spot intervened and took the youth into custody.

Protestors were engaged on issues of education and unemployment

The protest was organized by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) against the NEET paper leak, reforms in the education system, irregularities in recruitment examinations and increasing unemployment. A large number of students, youth, parents and women participated in the program.

According to eyewitnesses, when Abhijeet Deepke reached the Martyr Memorial, his supporters lifted him on their shoulders. Meanwhile, a young man present in the crowd reached him and slapped him. After the incident, anger spread among the supporters present there and they caught hold of the young man and started beating him. Later the police took charge of the situation and took the accused with them. Even before the slapping incident, there was a dispute between some youths at the protest site. The dispute that started during sloganeering reached the level of pushing and shoving. Seeing the situation worsening, the police intervened and took a young man into custody. After this the situation became normal and the program proceeded.

Mobile phones of many protesters stolen

Incidents of mobile theft also came to light among the crowd at the protest site. Many people complained about their phones being missing. As complaints increased, organizers from the stage appealed to people to keep their mobiles and valuables safe. Besides, people were asked to be cautious of thieves active in the crowd.

Youth arrived with posters and tricolor

The youth participating in the protest were holding posters with various messages in their hands. Slogans like “I love my country, reject corruption”, “Stop paper leaks” and “Give justice to youth” were written on the posters. The protesters also arrived carrying the national flag and tricolor and raised slogans against the government.

Demand raised for resignation of Education Minister

During the demonstration, the youth demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. He said that the future of lakhs of youth is being affected due to the continuously emerging paper leak cases and shortcomings in the education system. The protesters raised slogans against the government on this issue.

Sketch of cockroach made on the gate of martyr memorial

Before the program started, CJP volunteers made a sketch of a cockroach on the main gate of the Martyr Memorial. Along with this, the slogan “Dharmendra Pradhan should resign” was also written. These sketches and slogans remained the center of attraction for the people during the entire programme.

Fight between students and parents: Ashutosh Ranka

CJP national spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka said that this is not a movement of any one organization. He said that this is the fight of the students, youth and parents of the country. This movement is being run to improve the education system, transparency in recruitment examinations, stopping paper leaks and providing justice to the youth.

Police is interrogating the accused youth

At present the police is interrogating the youth who slapped. Despite the incident, the protest continued and a large number of youth present raised their voices regarding their demands. The police is busy investigating the entire matter.
