Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma held three important review meetings at the Chief Minister’s residence on Sunday and gave many important instructions to the administrative officers to public welfare, agriculture and urban development. The main objective of the meetings was to make public services more effective in the state, to provide timely resources to the farmers and to develop the capital Jaipur as a clean and world class city.
Emphasis on transparency and sensitivity for public welfare camps
The Chief Minister reviewed the preparations for urban and rural public welfare camps with district collectors and concerned officials through video conferencing. He directed that the camps should be organized with complete sensitivity, transparency and accountability.
He said that timely disposal of the problems and grievances of the citizens coming to the camps should be ensured so that the common people can get the real benefits of the government schemes. The Chief Minister also made it clear that the aim of the double engine government is to deliver the benefits of the schemes to every eligible citizen at a fast pace.
The preparations for the NEET exam to be held on June 21 were also reviewed in the meeting. The Chief Minister directed to ensure all necessary arrangements for the successful and fair conduct of the examination.
Special emphasis on fertilizer supply and organic farming in the interest of farmers
In the review meeting of the Agriculture and Cooperation Department, the Chief Minister gave instructions to ensure adequate availability of manure and fertilizers in view of the upcoming crop season. He said that the distribution system should be strengthened so that farmers get fertilizer on time.
While giving instructions to take strict action against black marketing and illegal storage of fertilizers, the Chief Minister said that the interests of farmers will not be compromised at any level. He also asked the officials to prepare an effective roadmap to promote natural and organic farming.
He said that extending the benefits of schemes to farmers through modern technology and innovation is one of the top priorities of the government. Every possible effort will be made to make the farmers of the state self-reliant and prosperous.
Initiative towards making Pink City Jaipur a world class city
The Chief Minister also held a detailed review meeting regarding the overall development, cleanliness and beautification of Jaipur. He directed the officials to make the cleanliness system of the capital more effective and to complete the development works strengthening the infrastructure within the stipulated time.
He said that Jaipur is not only the capital of Rajasthan but also a city with its own historical and cultural identity in the country and the world. In such a situation, it is the priority of the state government to develop it into a world-class city with clean, beautiful and modern facilities.
The Chief Minister said that the government is working with full commitment to develop the Pink City, which is a wonderful confluence of heritage and modernity, as per global standards.
Clear goal of double engine government
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that the objective of the state government is not only to make schemes but also to ensure their effective implementation. Providing relief to the common people, better facilities to farmers and providing modern look to cities through public welfare camps is an important part of the government’s development journey.
He told the officials that living up to the expectations of the public is the biggest responsibility of the administration and for this all the departments should work in coordination.
