To apply for this recruitment, candidates must have passed the Intermediate examination from a recognized board. Additionally, they must possess a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) diploma or a B.Sc. Nursing degree. Candidates are also required to hold a valid registration certificate from the Odisha Nursing Council or any State Nursing Council recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). As this is a district-cadre recruitment, candidates must have passed at least the Class 7 examination (or higher) with Odia as a subject.
What is the age limit?
The minimum age limit for general category candidates is set at 21 years, and the maximum at 38 years. However, SC, ST, SEBC, and female candidates will be granted a 5-year relaxation in the upper age limit, in accordance with government regulations. What is the salary?
Selected candidates will receive a salary based on Pay-Matrix Level-8 of the Odisha Revised Scale of Pay (ORSP Rules 2017). The initial basic salary for this post will be ₹29,200 per month, with the potential to rise to ₹92,300. What is the selection process?
Candidates will be selected based on a written examination and document verification. The written exam will be conducted in offline OMR mode and will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The duration of the exam will be 2 hours, and a negative marking of 0.25 marks will apply.
