A fantastic opportunity has arisen to undertake an internship at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). DRDO has issued a notification inviting applications for internships at its Hyderabad-based laboratory, Research Centre Imarat (RCI). This research centre is one of DRDO's key laboratories and serves as a major avionics hub for India's missile and defence programmes; it develops advanced avionics systems used in defence technology.
The centre is inviting applications from eligible and meritorious final-year students for a paid internship lasting at least six months. The internship will be conducted at RCI/DYSL-AT/DSP, Hyderabad. A total of 160 internship vacancies have been announced under this recruitment drive. Students from various engineering and science disciplines are eligible to apply. The deadline for applications is June 20.

B.Tech students in their 7th and 8th semesters
Post-graduate students in Engineering and Science (Physics/Chemistry only)
Candidates must possess a strong academic record from a recognized Indian university or institute.

What is the Stipend?
Selected students will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000; this stipend is payable only if the intern attends work for at least 15 days a month. The stipend will be paid in two installments: the first after 3 months and the second after the completion of 6 months.
