Praising the achievement, he further said, “This is a historic achievement, which not only reflects your personal leadership and continuity, but also symbolizes India’s democratic traditions and stability.”
When Macron was saying this, his face was glowing and as soon as he finished his speech, the people present there supported his words with applause.
Apart from this, Macron described India-France relations as very important. He believed that India is a country of innovation. France has been a partner of ‘Make in India’ in defence, technology and many other sectors. India and France have a true strategic partnership in important areas like AI and climate change.
Along with this, Macron said, “There is great potential to increase cooperation between the two countries in the civil nuclear energy sector. India and France can also work together in new nuclear technologies like Small Modular Reactor (SMR).”
Praising India, Macron said that every year France produces more engineers than Europe and America combined. At the same time, he also praised India’s growing stature in terms of innovation. He said, “Now the question is not whether India innovates or not; the question is who in the world will innovate with India.”
