The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a special digital training program titled ‘Pariksha Karmayogi: Capacity Building Program for Examination Officials’ to strengthen the smooth, secure, and transparent conduct of its examinations. This program has been launched on the Government of India’s iGOT Karmayogi Bharat platform. Its objective is to provide enhanced training to officials deployed at examination centers, particularly Centre Superintendents and Invigilators. The program has been designed for personnel associated with all NTA offline examinations, including NEET UG.
The training program is divided into four modules:
Module 1 focuses on the roles of examination personnel, as well as maintaining fairness, transparency, and the credibility of the examination.
Module 2 covers pre-examination preparations, examination center arrangements, security measures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Module 3: Encompasses exam-day activities, outlining responsibilities before the exam begins, during the exam, and after the exam concludes.
Module 4 presents a concise summary of key instructions and responsibilities.
**Certificate for Examination Personnel Upon Completion**
According to the NTA, this course can be completed online at one's own pace. Examination personnel will receive a certificate upon completing the training. The agency states that trained and certified personnel play a crucial role in conducting large-scale national examinations in a fair and organized manner, making well-trained staff essential.
**Emphasis on Strengthening the Examination System**
This initiative marks a significant step towards establishing uniform standards for conducting examinations nationwide and further strengthening the examination system. It reflects the NTA's ongoing efforts to leverage technology-based capacity building and reinforce the examination system through trained and certified personnel.
**Rumors of NEET Paper Leak**
Meanwhile, ahead of the NEET re-examination, rumors have circulated on social media claiming that the paper has been leaked, and the alleged question paper is going viral. However, the NTA has dismissed this claim as completely fake and misleading. It has also urged students not to pay heed to such rumors.
