A major revelation has come to light in the investigation of the massive fire incident that took place late on Saturday night (June 12) in Delhi’s Tughlakabad Extension. Police investigation has revealed that this was not an accident but a fire set as part of a planned conspiracy. According to the police, a fire broke out in the building of RZ-171/1, Gali No. 1, TKD Extension at around 2:24 am on June 12.
The fire engulfed the entire building from the ground floor to the fifth floor. 8 people were burnt in the accident, who were admitted to AIIMS Trauma Center and Safdarjung Hospital. Pankaj Pandey, Sushila Devi and Sonia Kumari died during treatment. Initially, the police registered a case under provisions to death by negligence and fire and started investigation.
During the investigation, CCTV footage was examined, in which a woman was seen entering the building shortly before the fire. After this the police suspected that the fire was started deliberately. Based on the investigation, the police arrested a 17-year-old minor girl. During interrogation, he told that Sarita had instigated him to set fire to the scooter of Deepak, who lived in the building, by giving him petrol and matchsticks.
There was a dispute going on between Deepak and Sarita regarding money. Upon further investigation, Sarita revealed that the entire conspiracy was hatched by Niranjan (33) and his brother Rajkumar (27). Both wanted to take revenge for some old personal dispute. After this, the police added serious sections like criminal conspiracy, culpable homicide, attempt to murder, causing harm by arson and entering the house at night in the case.
All four accused including the minor girl have been taken into custody. Police say that the investigation of the case is still going on and other aspects of the conspiracy are also being investigated. The CCTV video before the fire that broke out in Delhi’s Tughlakabad Extension on Saturday is going viral on social media.
It is being told. A suspicious woman is seen entering the house and then coming out. Four people had died in a fire in the same building in Tughlakabad. Delhi Police had started investigating the video that went viral on social media. The woman had brought the burning material hidden under her scarf. Police were initially considering the EV battery explosion or short circuit as the cause of this fire incident.
The police started investigation by taking the CCTV footage installed in front of the shop and found out that it was not an accident but a well-planned conspiracy. A masked woman is seen going to the parking lot at 2.22 am and she had something like a bottle in her hand which she had hidden in her scarf. The woman also used surgical gloves to avoid fingerprints.
