Uddhav Thackeray faction leader and MP in Maharashtra Sanjay Raut has reacted to the discussions of Bharatiya Janata Party’s alleged ‘Operation Tiger’. During this, he made a sharp attack and said, “The day we come to power, BJP will not survive. We will break it into pieces and it will be difficult for their leaders to come out of the house.”

On the meeting of MPs called at Uddhav Thackeray’s residence Matoshree, Sanjay Raut said, “Today party chief Uddhav Thackeray has called the meeting of MPs, which is a regular organizational process. Just like the meetings of MLAs, the meeting of MPs has been called today. All our MPs will be present in the meeting. Those MPs who will not be able to come due to some reason will be connected to the meeting through video conferencing and discussions will be held with them.”

He said that “Operation Tiger” has been discussed continuously for the last two years, but no such operation has taken place. Recently, the discussion of ‘Operation Tiger’ is in full swing in the politics of Maharashtra. Under this, there has been speculation about some MPs and leaders of Shiv Sena (UBT) joining Eknath Shinde led Shiv Sena.

Amid speculations of some Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs switching sides, party chief Uddhav Thackeray has called a meeting of his MPs on Sunday. A party MP said that this meeting has been called on Sunday afternoon at Thackeray’s residence Matoshree in Bandra East area of Mumbai. This development becomes important amid the discussion that under ‘Operation Tiger’ some MPs may join Shiv Sena led by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Responding to a question in Delhi this week, Shinde rejected these claims and said that the elections are over and there is no need for any numbers game. With seven MPs, Shiv Sena is the third largest ally of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the Centre.
