The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released a notification detailing updates to the recruitment process via direct interviews. Notably, candidates will now have an extended timeframe to submit their documents beyond the initial deadline, contingent upon the payment of a penalty fee.
Candidates are allowed to submit their documents within five working days after the deadline, provided they pay a late fee of ₹3,000.
**Self-Declaration Requirement**
Along with the late fee, candidates must also provide a self-declaration confirming that they meet all the essential criteria outlined in the recruitment advertisement. If a candidate fails to submit the required documents within this five-day grace period, the Commission will notify them about the cancellation of their application. However, candidates will have a final chance to submit their documents within 10 working days from the cancellation notice date, with a late fee of ₹25,000 applicable.
**Late Fee Non-Refundable**
The MPPSC has made it clear that if a candidate's application is canceled for any reason after submitting documents with the late fee, the candidate will be fully accountable, and the late fee will not be refunded.
Additionally, the Commission has specified the number of candidates to be invited for interviews based on the available vacancies. For instance, up to 12 candidates will be called for a single vacancy, while 24 candidates will be invited for 2 to 3 vacancies. For 4 to 6 vacancies, 36 candidates will be called, and for 7 to 8 vacancies, 48 candidates will be invited. In cases of 10 or more vacancies, either 50 candidates or five times the number of vacancies will be called, depending on which is greater.
