TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee’s troubles increase, FIR registered in two different police stations of Bengal; Know what is the whole matter

Abhishek Banerjee FIR: Trinamool Congress (TMC) General Secretary and MP Abhishek Banerjee’s troubles seem to be increasing continuously. Complaints have been filed against him on different charges in two police stations in two different districts of West Bengal. A complaint has been filed regarding alleged statements inciting violence after the elections.

The second complaint has been lodged by BJP leader Avijit Das alias Bobby at Bishnupur police station in South 24 Parganas district. Avijit Das has been the BJP candidate against Abhishek Banerjee from Diamond Harbor seat in the 2019 and 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Abhishek’s troubles increased due to two new cases

He has alleged that there was corruption in the distribution of relief material after Cyclone Amphan in 2020, in which the role of Abhishek Banerjee should be investigated. He has demanded to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate this matter.

Three days, interrogation of Abhishek in three cases

Meanwhile, Abhishek Banerjee will have to appear before the CID and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in three different cases on three consecutive days from June 14 to 16. These include cases to alleged irregularities in documents to the Assembly, teacher recruitment scam and statements given before the elections. Due to this, the turmoil in the politics of the state has intensified.

Abhishek on CID-ED radar

On June 15, he will have to appear at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Salt Lake, Kolkata for questioning in the alleged multi-crore teacher recruitment scam (cash-for-school-job) case. ED had issued summons to him on June 3.

CID will interrogate Amit Shah in case of alleged threat

On June 16, Abhishek Banerjee will once again appear at the CID headquarters, where he will be interrogated in the case to the allegations of threatening Union Home Minister Amit Shah and inciting violence before the assembly elections. In this regard, CID had issued a notice to him on Thursday evening.
