The government formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the case of theft of money from donation boxes in Ram temple of Ayodhya. Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant, IG Range Kiran S and Special Secretary, Finance Neel Ratan have been kept in the SIT. The SIT will submit its preliminary report within seven days and the final report within 15 days.
In fact, amidst the discussions and political statements spreading on social media regarding the case of theft of money from donation boxes, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust had demanded investigation of the entire episode by Special Investigation Team (SITE).
According to a spokesperson, the Trust had demanded from Chief Minister Yogi that misleading information and rumors are being spread regarding the matter, which is creating confusion among the devotees. Various types of misleading information are being spread on social media. In such a situation, SIT should be constituted for a fair and comprehensive investigation of the entire matter, so that the facts can be revealed to the public and rumors can be put to an end.
Let us tell you that regarding this matter, Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav had said that many questions remain unanswered regarding ‘Chadhwa theft case’ and the truth of the matter should come out. The former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh said, “Nobody is able to understand what the trustees want to say. The news of the arrest of people involved in rigging is being circulated through newspapers, TV channels, media portals and YouTube channels.
He alleged that initially the police did not say anything in this regard, but later under some pressure issued a denial. He claimed that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders have become uneasy after seeing the public anger. The SP chief said that BJP’s allies have gone underground as usual to distance themselves from this matter. The Lucknow government has sealed its mouth and the Delhi government’s drones and binoculars are unknown.
Akhilesh Yadav said that due to these unclear circumstances, apprehensions have increased among the followers of Sanatan Dharma in the country and abroad. Demanding an impartial investigation and disclosure of this matter, he said that it should be revealed who are behind those who are playing with the traditional faith of the country and who is protecting those who commit the sin of alleged theft in the offerings.
