digital desk- The political temperature has already reached sky high regarding the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh in the year 2027. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has now taken a very aggressive stance on the statement of Samajwadi Party (SP) National President Akhilesh Yadav that “If we lose in 2027, we will go to Chambal”. Yogi government’s cabinet and newly appointed Jhansi in-charge minister Jaiveer Singh have sharply retaliated on this statement of Akhilesh Yadav. While addressing the media on his arrival in Jhansi, Jaiveer Singh taunted that by mentioning Chambal, the SP chief himself has unknowingly exposed the basic thinking, culture and old working style of his party.
When Mainpuri Lok Sabha elections had to be canceled when Mulayam Singh was the CM.
Minister in-charge Jaiveer Singh shared a long memoir of election history reminding the SP rule. He said that when voting was conducted through ballot papers in the country and the state, the Mainpuri parliamentary seat of Uttar Pradesh became the first Lok Sabha constituency in the whole of India, where the elections had to be completely cancelled. Jaiveer Singh alleged, “At that time, the Chief Minister of the state was Mulayam Singh Yadav and Dharmendra Yadav was the Lok Sabha candidate. There was so much rigging, hooliganism and anarchy during the voting that the Central Election Commission was forced to cancel the entire election and conduct re-voting. The basic premise of SP has always been ‘Lathtantra’.”
“If Bihari does not forget Lalu’s jungle raj, then how will UP forget SP’s anarchy?”
The cabinet minister targeted the opposition alliance citing the political history of Uttar Pradesh as well as neighboring state Bihar. He said that just as the people of Bihar have not forgotten Lalu Prasad Yadav’s 20-year-old jungle raj and anarchy till date, in the same way the people of Uttar Pradesh have also not forgotten the dreadful phase of SP rule just 10 years ago (2012 to 2017). He said that it was because of Jungle Raj that the people of Bihar kept Lalu ji’s son out of power and formed the NDA government with a strong majority. The people of UP also remember very well the extortion and hooliganism of SP’s time. “The public has ousted SP from power twice in 2017 and thereafter and the same fate is going to happen to SP for the third time in 2027.”
Approval of PM Modi’s policies from Gangotri to Gangasagar
Jaiveer Singh claimed that today, across the geographical boundaries of the country, from Gangotri to Gangasagar, people are completely influenced by the policies, practices and developmental programs of BJP. Most of the states of the country have put their unwavering seal of approval on the public welfare works of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
