Iran to Hold Funeral for Late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei

Over 100 days after the assassination of Iran's former Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, preparations are underway for his burial on July 9. According to reports from state media, the funeral proceedings will commence on July 4, featuring a farewell ceremony in Tehran on July 6, followed by another event in Qom on July 7. The final resting place for the late leader will be the Imam Reza shrine located in Mashhad, where he will be interred after the concluding ceremony on July 9.
