Pranit More reacts to Rs 370 biryani controversy: Shehbaz Badesha, Kishwer Merchant and others support him

Pranit More has been making headlines since a clip from his comedy show went viral on social media. He has now shared a video on his Instagram handle apologising and seeking forgiveness for not taking a stand when a man (Himanshu) made derogatory remarks. Fellow celebrities like Shehbaz Badesha , Kishwer Merchant and others have come out in his support and shared their take on it.
In the video, he said, “Aap sabne mera crowd work ka video dekha hoga, jiske liye mujhe kaafi hate mil rahi hai, aur mujhe lagta hai main yeh hate deserve bhi karta hoon. Kyunki us ladke se jab main crowd work kar raha tha, usne kaafi derogatory cheezein boli, but sab log us par hass rahe the. Main bhi carried away ho gaya aur mujhse lapse in judgement ho gaya. Yeh meri kaafi badi galti thi. Main chahta toh usse wahan par rok sakta tha ya stand le sakta tha, jo main nahi kar paaya. Maine usse ek platform diya, jiski wajah se yeh cheezein itni escalate ho gayi.”
Pranit further added, “Jinko bhi iss wajah se hurt hue hain, un sabse main maafi maangna chahta hoon. Jo bhi legal proceedings mere khilaaf ho rahi hain, uske liye main authorities ke saath cooperate bhi kar raha hoon. Main yehi request karna chahta hoon ki please mujhe ek chance do, main better insaan banke dikhaunga. Mere liye bhi ek learning thi, toh main khud par aur mere content ke upar bhi kaam karunga. Yeh cheez mere future ke kaam mein bhi dekh paoge,” he added.
Soon after he shared the video on his Instagram handle, social media users and fellow celebrities reacted in the comment section. While many continued to express their disappointment in him, some requested fans to give him another chance.
Kishwer wrote, “Am sure people will forgive you, just be mindful and very careful of the content and crowdwork u do! Stay strong.” Shehbaz, on the other hand, commented, “Ur best bro, galti maaf krne vale bade hote hai. U accepted, that’s great.”
