Famed singer Ariana Grande just made headlines for one of her latest philanthropic moves. The singer just recently announced that she established a charity to support and protect people in need amid the ongoing immigration crackdown in the USA.
Ariana Grande starts a new non-profit organisationOn Friday, the ‘Wicked: For Good’ actress took to her social media accounts to share that she is starting a new charitable organisation to help people in need. She shared a post about the organisation, along with the caption that read: "I am beyond excited to finally announce the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation . Our mission is to support, protect, and provide resources for our vulnerable friends in need. Through four different funds, we will be supporting handfuls of incredible organisations that provide the safe space and care that is desperately needed by so many right now."
She further mentioned how she has been able to support some of the organisations on her own for the past few years; however, she is happy and grateful for the fact that she now can extend that support to more and more people.
About Ariana Grande’s crackdown on the Trump AdministrationEarlier this week, the Trump administration used one of her popular songs, ‘Bye’, which was released back in 2024, in one of its videos. Posted on the White House’s official social media handle, the video showed a compilation of clips of immigrants being detained by ICE agents, which caused a lot of backlash online. The video was also posted along with the caption, “Bye-bye. President Trump has delivered the most secure border in history.”
Following this, Grande quickly slammed the government for using her song without any authorisation in their video. "Please do not ever use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense. f--- ice," she wrote in her comment under the same video.
She also confirmed that her team will have the song removed as soon as possible. At the time of writing, while the video is still up on the account, it has been muted, and Ariana Grande’s song has been removed altogether.

The announcement comes only a day after Grande successfully blocked the Trump administration's unauthorised use of her music.
