Dharamshala: The first match of the three-match ODI series between India and Afghanistan starting today (Saturday, June 13) has been affected by the weather. In this match, which started at 1:30 pm in Dharamshala, the toss has not been possible yet due to continuous rain. Players of both the teams are present on the field and are waiting for the rain to stop in the hope of starting the game. Meanwhile, news is coming that if the weather conditions remain the same, then the match can be organized as a T20 match by reducing the overs.
Cut-off time is till 6:32 pm, overs have started decreasing.
According to the latest update, light drizzle is currently continuing in Dharamshala, however, it is a matter of relief that the pace of rain has reduced. Due to the game not starting on time, the process of reduction of overs has started.
Rules of 20-20 overs game
If the ground is ready for play by 6:32 pm, the match will be reduced to 20-20 overs. Whereas, if the match starts around 5:00 pm, the overs will be decided as per the available time.
