Shoaib Ibrahim had recently shared that his father suffered another brain stroke and was admitted to the ICU. He has now shared a new vlog on his YouTube channel, updating fans about his father’s health. Shoaib confirmed that his father is doing better now and is out of the ICU. He further updated fans about Dipika’s health and recent treatments.
Shoaib shared, “Dad is finally out of the ICU now. There was a slight infection, which is usually very common during such times. Everything is fine now. The CRP levels are also normal now. Yesterday, Papa was finally shifted from the ICU to a ward. I haven’t been able to give any updates or shoot anything properly since then because it has been a new experience for Papa.”
He further revealed how he got scared after his father was unresponsive for some time as he was sleeping. He mentioned, “At one point yesterday, I got scared. I was calling out to him, saying, ‘Papa, Papa,’ but he wasn’t responding. Then when I called out loudly again, he said he was feeling sleepy. I told him to go to sleep, and since then he has been sleeping a lot.”
The actor then added, “Today, his proper physiotherapy and rehabilitation have started. We just went to the rehab floor at Kokilaben Hospital. Those who know the place will understand. He had a full one-hour session today, and from tomorrow it will happen twice a day. Dipika also came to meet Papa today. She had told me to inform her whenever Papa was shifted, and she would come.”
Shoaib also shared that son Ruhaan has been suffering from a viral fever for the past two days and said, “Dipika couldn’t come yesterday because Ruhaan had been suffering from a viral fever for the past two days. He also had some ear pain and fever. But Alhamdulillah, he is better now. I have kept him away from the hospital for now, and he is playing elsewhere. We haven’t brought him here yet. Once things improve further, he will come to meet Papa.”
Shoaib then added, “In the ICU, you are constantly surrounded by monitors and machines. ECG, blood pressure, pulse, and heart rate are all displayed on screens. If anything changes, alarms start ringing immediately, and nurses come running. Papa was constantly being monitored there. But now that he is in the ward, there aren’t such monitors all around him. Of course, nurses come every hour and check his blood pressure, pulse, heart rate, and everything else, but still, I kept worrying. I would look at him lying there and stay awake.”
