Actor Satya Dev is gearing up for the release of his upcoming psychological horror-comedy drama ‘ Rao Bahadur ’ directed by Venkatesh Maha . Backed by Tollywood star Mahesh Babu’s production banner the actor recently unveiled the teaser of the film.

Teaser of ‘Rao Bahadur’In the 3 minute 25 second teaser introduces an elderly man who is living with the final stages of liver cancer. However, the character appears to be trapped in a strange situation where death does not arrive as expected.

Satya Dev appears in a completely different avatar in the film. The actor undergoes a major physical transformation and delivers a performance that looks both emotional and intense.

His character seems to be caught between memories and reality, making it difficult to separate truth from imagination.

Sharing the teaser, the 'Varanasi' star wrote, “Remember... This is JUST A TEASER.!! Really proud of this team for bringing the extraordinary vision of #RaoBahadur to life….”

Making of Satya Dev’s look in ‘Rao Bahadur’A few days ago, the makers also shared some BTS from its making. The footage shows the actor arriving on the set and immediately getting ready for a lengthy makeup session. A team of technicians carefully applies a bald cap and specialised prosthetics to create the aged look. They also add a long grey-haired wig, a thick beard, and a curled handlebar moustache.

Cast of ‘Rao Bahadur’Speaking about the film, it also includes Deepa Thomas as the female lead in the movie. This project marks the second collaboration between Venkatesh Maha and Satya Dev after Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya.

The film also stars Vikas Muppala, Bala Parasar, Anand Bharathi, Pranay Vaka, and Master Kiran in important roles.

The music is composed by Smaran Sai.

The film is all set to release in theatres on July 3.
