Gonda, June 11. Former Bharatiya Janata Party MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on Wednesday said that he knows a lot on this subject, but is not in a position to speak the truth right now, regarding the allegations of alleged misuse and theft of offerings in the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Speaking to reporters at his residence in Vishnoharpur in the district, Brij Bhushan Singh said, ‘I am a very weak man. If I tell the truth I will be in a lot of trouble. Because they are very big people. We don’t have the courage to speak the truth right now. We will speak when the time comes.
Brij Bhushan Singh, who returned to his village after a stay of about 10 days in Delhi, mentioned his recent political and social experiences and said that he has been facing many complex situations for some time. Referring to the controversy to the allegations made by some women wrestlers in the year 2023, he said that he has been engaged in handling the circumstances arising out of that episode for a long time.
Defending Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on the issue of alleged irregularities and paper leaks in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), Brij Bhushan Singh said that the resignation of any minister will not solve the problem. He said that an organized mechanism works behind the paper leak in which officers and employees at different levels are involved. He questioned whether the resignation of a minister could guarantee that paper leaks would stop in future.
Brij Bhushan Singh said that the minister cannot personally monitor each examination center or system. According to him, unless strict action is taken against the guilty officers and employees, it will not be possible to effectively curb such incidents. He said that for the first time strict action is being taken against top officials and he is hopeful that the present government will be successful in breaking the network to copying and paper leaks.
