
Washington, June 11. US President Donald Trump on Thursday canceled military strikes against Iran. According to the information received, talks between the two countries have reached the top leadership of Iran, raising hopes of a major success in efforts to end the conflict that has been going on for more than three months.
Donald Trump wrote on the social media platform Truth Social, ‘Based on the negotiations with Iran reaching the highest levels of the Iranian leadership and its approval, I, as President of the United States, have canceled the scheduled attacks and bombings on Iran this evening.’
Trump further said that the discussions and final points have been approved by all parties, including the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE (United Arab Emirates), Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt and other countries.
Along with this, Donald Trump also said that the naval blockade will remain in full force until this deal is finally completed. The time and place of its signing will be announced soon.
It is noteworthy that earlier President Donald Trump had warned of military action against Iran. He had said that America would launch a ‘very severe attack’ on Iran tonight. Along with this, he had claimed that Iran’s military capability has already become quite weak.
The US President had also warned through a social media post that in the future, America would take control of Iran’s major oil and gas bases, including Kharg Island.
