Khephren Thuram’s stance on a possible summer transfer to Manchester United has come to light, as speculation about his future with Juventus continues to grow.

After completing the signing of Ederson from Atalanta, United are still exploring options to strengthen their midfield department.

With Champions League football secured for next season and ambitions to compete seriously for the Premier League title, United are keen to build greater squad depth. Following Casemiro’s exit and the anticipated departure of Manuel Ugarte, the club are considering the addition of up to three high-quality midfielders.

According to previous reports highlighted by The Peoples Person, Thuram remains among the players on United’s radar.

The French midfielder featured 35 times for Juventus in Serie A during the 2025/26 season, registering three goals and three assists. However, despite his contributions, the Turin side failed to secure a Champions League spot. With revenue falling short, Juventus are now under pressure to make player sales, and Thuram is viewed as one of their most valuable assets in the transfer market.

While Juventus were initially eager to extend his contract, new information suggests the club have become more open to the idea of selling him this summer.

As reported by TuttoJuve.com, transfer activity surrounding Thuram has increased, and there is a strong possibility that he could leave the Bianconeri during this window.

Alongside Manchester United, Liverpool are also keeping tabs on the 25-year-old, while Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray have reportedly made enquiries about his availability.

TuttoJuve.com stated, “The Juventus midfielder could be one of the players sacrificed in this transfer window, even though he currently prefers to stay at Juventus.”

The Red Devils, having already secured Ederson from Atalanta, are looking to add another midfielder to their roster and are closely monitoring Thuram, along with Elliot Anderson—considered their top target—and Mateus Fernandes.

Sources suggest that while Juventus have not fixed an exact asking price for Thuram, negotiations are expected to begin in the region of €45–50 million.

Whether Manchester United are willing to meet that price remains to be seen, but it is clear that this story is far from over and will continue to unfold in the coming weeks.
