Cyber criminals have now found a new and shocking way to cheat people, in which it has been found that with one wrong click of the users, their bank account gets completely emptied.

Nowadays, many smartphones are provided with special buttons for security and convenience. Cyber thugs take advantage of this and send fake links or fake apps to people. As soon as the user clicks on the link or downloads the app, a pop-up appears on the screen, containing a button like “OK”, “Allow” or “Update”. Do not press any button that appears suddenly on the screen in a hurry. Use anti-virus: Always keep official security software or anti-virus updated in your mobile.
call forwarding scam
Sometimes hackers call you posing as a bank officer or courier agent. Cyber Alert. They say, “Your parcel has arrived, press ‘1’ or ‘9’ on your phone to confirm.” As soon as you press that button while the phone is on, ‘call forwarding’ is activated on your mobile. With this, all the OTPs of your bank are transferred directly to the hacker’s phone.
