1. Carrot
It is not possible to talk about eye health and not mention carrots. Carrots contain abundant amounts of beta-carotene, which gets converted into Vitamin A in the body. 3. Almonds
Almonds are considered a good source of Vitamin E. This nutrient helps protect eye cells from damaging free radicals. Eating limited quantity of almonds daily can benefit eye health. Apart from this, it is also considered beneficial for the brain and heart.
4. Amla
Amla is rich in Vitamin C, which helps in keeping the blood vessels of the eyes healthy. With its regular consumption, the functioning of the eyes can remain better. Amla can be consumed in the form of juice, powder or fresh fruit.
5. Fish and flax seeds
Omega-3 fatty acids are considered very important for eye health. A good amount of it is found in fish. Whereas flax seeds can be a better option for vegetarian people. Omega-3 may help reduce dry eyes and improve their normal function.
