The upcoming assembly elections of Uttar Pradesh are in the beginning of 2027 but the field has already started getting ready. The main players of elections are the leaders. In such a situation, the leaders of UP and the workers and officials who want to contest elections have started looking for opportunities. The biggest challenge faced by these people who are dreaming of becoming MLAs is to get a ticket from any party. All the leaders who are dreaming of contesting elections want to fight with big parties, so that they can win and reach the assembly.

Apart from Bharatiya Janata Party, Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, Congress and RLD, there are some smaller parties too, contesting elections on whose symbols is considered a profitable deal. At the top are BJP’s allies Bharatiya Suheldev Samaj Party (Subhashpa) and Nishad Party. It is certain that both these parties will contest the upcoming elections with BJP. Being in alliance, both the parties can get at least a dozen seats.

Now not only leaders but also IAS officers are in the line to contest elections on the symbols of SubhaSP and Nishad Party. The biggest names in this list are Avnish Awasthi, one of the officers closest to CM Yogi Adistainath, and former IAS Abhishek Singh. Former Jaunpur MP Dhananjay Singh is also in this list.

Speculation about Avnish Awasthi contesting elections

Actually, Avnish Awasthi has retired from the job. He is currently working as an advisor to Chief Minister Yogi. But, working as Awasthi’s advisor also has a limited period, which will end in the future. In such a situation, Avnish Awasthi wants to contest elections and become an MLA. Recently, there were reports on social media that he wants to try his luck in the electoral arena.

In this series, Yogi Adityanath’s most powerful advisor Avnish Awasthi recently visited the house of Nishad Party President and Cabinet Minister Dr. Sanjay Nishad to wish him on the occasion of his birthday. This is the first time that Awasthi has gone to Sanjay Nishad’s house to congratulate him and his photo has come out in public. The meaning of this meeting with Sanjay Nishad is being interpreted that Avnish Awasthi is looking for a ticket for the upcoming assembly elections.

Abhishek Singh’s hope from Rajbhar

Om Prakash Rajbhar is a big leader of UP NDA. His party SubhaSP has influence in Purvanchal. In view of these equations, former IAS officer and Jaunpur resident Abhishek Singh has met OP Rajbhar on several occasions. Last year, Rajbhar was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Lucknow after suffering a minor brain stroke. Even at that time Abhishek had gone to meet him.

In such a situation, if OP Rajbhar contests the elections in 2027 along with BJP, then it is obvious that he can field his candidates on dozens of seats in Purvanchal in the alliance. In such a situation, Abhishek Singh can reach UP Assembly on SubhaSP ticket. This is the reason why former IAS officer OP is growing closer with Rajbhar.

Will Dhananjay Singh reach the assembly?

The name of former Jaunpur MP Dhananjay Singh is also in this series. Despite all efforts, he was able to contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. After not being able to contest the Lok Sabha, his eyes are on reaching the Assembly. Dhananjay Singh is also often seen meeting with SubhaSP chief Rajbhar. However, Dhananjay Singh is not trying his luck only on OP Rajbhar. He is also growing closer to BJP leaders. On June 8, he met Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak in Lucknow. Many meanings are being inferred from this meeting in the political circles.
