India Politics: In West Bengal politics, Trinamool Congress (TMC) is facing internal dissatisfaction after the assembly election results. A group that broke away from the party has claimed the support of 20 MPs. Meanwhile, the meeting of a section of rebel MPs with West Bengal Chief Minister Subhendu Adhikari yesterday was also in the news. Shiv Sena (UBT)’s reaction has come to light on this development.

Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson Anand Dubey said that the leaders and public representatives who used to praise the party leadership during their long stay in power are now seen adopting a different stance when the circumstances change. He sarcastically said that just as rats come out of a sinking ship, in the same way some people keep distance in times of political crisis.

Statement on leaving together in crisis and BJP

He further mentioned various political parties and said that in times of crisis, many times people leave the party, while some people stand with the party till the end. He also claimed that the role of Bharatiya Janata Party has been discussed at some level or the other behind such political movements, even if it does not come forward directly.

Anand Dubey also said that in the current political circumstances, the ongoing tussle over party switching and symbols is not good for democracy and there is a need for a clear arrangement on this, so that there is no confusion among the public.
