Train Cancellations: Important news for those traveling by train. A 'rolling block' for track maintenance and repair work will be in effect in the Adra Railway Division from June 9 (today) to June 14. Consequently, South Eastern Railway has decided to cancel several trains and alter the operations of others. Notably, this decision by the Railways will impact thousands of passengers across Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal.
8 Trains Cancelled
According to the notification issued by the Railways, 8 trains will remain cancelled on various dates. These include:
The 68061/68062 Adra-Asansol-Adra MEMU will remain cancelled on June 11.
The 68090/68089 Adra-Medinipur-Adra MEMU will remain cancelled on June 9 (today), 12, and 14.
The 68077/68078 Adra-Bhaga-Adra MEMU will remain cancelled on June 9 and 14.
The 68079/68080 Bhojudih-Chandrapura-Bhojudih MEMU will remain cancelled on June 9, 12, and 14.

Short Termination and Short Origination for These Trains
Please note: The Railways has decided not to run certain trains up to their scheduled destinations.
18116/18115 – The Chakradharpur-Gomoh-Chakradharpur Express will run only up to Mahuda on June 9, 12, and 14. 68056/68060 – Tatanagar-Asansol MEMU/Barabhum MEMU will operate only up to Adra on June 11.
68055/68056 – Asansol-Tatanagar-Asansol MEMU will run only up to Adra on June 10 and 13.
63594/63593 – Asansol-Purulia-Asansol MEMU will run only up to Adra on June 10 and 13.
18035/18036 – Kharagpur-Hatia-Kharagpur Express will run only up to Adra on June 10 and 13.
Route Change for This Train
It is worth noting that the Railways has also diverted the 18601 Tatanagar-Hatia Express, scheduled to depart from Tatanagar on June 9 and 13. Instead of its usual route, this train will reach Hatia via Chandil, Gundabihar, and Muri. The Railways has advised passengers to check the current status of their train before commencing their journey to avoid any inconvenience later.
