Horrific road accident in Dubai, bus blown to pieces due to collision with suddenly stopped truck, death of 7 Indians created an outcry!

Dubai Road Accident: On Monday, in Dubai city of United Arab Emirates (UAE), a truck suddenly stopped in the middle of the road and a minibus following it collided with it. Many Indian workers lost their lives in this accident. The Indian Consulate in Dubai said in a post on social media platform X that we are deeply distressed by this tragic road accident in Dubai in which several Indian workers have died.

The Indian Embassy said it is in touch with local authorities to provide all possible assistance and cooperation. Brigadier Juma Salem bin Suwaidan, director of the traffic department of Dubai Police, said that preliminary investigation revealed that the truck suddenly stopped in the middle of the road due to a technical fault. He said the bus driver allegedly did not pay enough attention and did not maintain a safe distance, due to which the bus collided with the truck from behind.

7 people died, 9 injured

Brigadier Juma Salem bin Suwaidan said that according to preliminary investigation, the truck suddenly stopped in the middle of Emirates Road due to a technical fault. “The bus driver allegedly did not pay attention and did not maintain safe distance, due to which he hit the truck from behind,” he said in the statement.

He further said that 7 people died in this accident, while 9 others were injured. Of the injured, the condition of five is stated to be serious and the condition of four is stated to be moderate. All the injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment.

Indian Consulate officials reached the hospital

Indian Consulate officials went to the hospital and met the injured Indians. The embassy said that our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims in this difficult time. Brigadier Juma Salem said that to find out the actual cause of the accident, experts from the Traffic Accident Investigation Section have been sent to the spot so that they can inspect and collect necessary evidence.

He said the traffic patrol team controlled the traffic at the spot, made the area safe and maintained smooth movement of rescue vehicles. The work crew also removed damaged trucks and minibuses from the road, allowing traffic to operate normally.
