Bayern Munich Warn Real Madrid Over €150m Michael Olise Transfer Rumours: 'He’s Not for Sale at Any Price'

Bayern Munich have firmly warned Real Madrid to stay away from Michael Olise following reports that the Spanish club is preparing a record-breaking €150 million transfer bid. The Bundesliga champions have made it clear that their French winger is untouchable, regardless of Florentino Perez’s ambitious summer plans.

Bayern president dismisses Perez’s interest

Officials at the Allianz Arena have grown frustrated with the persistent speculation linking Olise to a move to Spain. Reports indicated that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez was ready to authorize a €150 million offer to bring the French international to the Santiago Bernabeu as part of his campaign for re-election as Los Blancos’ president.

However, Bayern president Herbert Hainer has stepped in to shut down the rumours once and for all. During a meeting with supporters, Hainer was frank about the matter involving the former Crystal Palace player. “Michael Olise is a Bayern player and has a long-term contract. We are not a selling club. If Florentino Perez wants to send us an offer – which hasn’t happened so far – he can save himself the effort,” Hainer told BILD.

Record bid won’t sway Die Roten

Hainer’s strong words echoed those of honorary president Uli Hoeness, who had earlier laughed off the idea of Olise leaving Germany. Despite the potential financial gain from such a massive transfer, Bayern insist that their sporting goals outweigh any monetary benefit from selling their key player to a European rival.

Hoeness had been even more emphatic when the rumours first emerged. “Sell Michael Olise for €200 million? He won’t be sold. We play this game for our fans. We have 430,000 members, millions of supporters across the globe, and it doesn’t help them if we have €200 million in the bank but play worse football every Saturday because of it,” Hoeness had stated earlier.

Perez’s re-election sparks transfer speculation

The timing of the rumours appears deliberate, following Perez’s re-election as Real Madrid president. Perez has a history of marking such victories with high-profile signings to signal the start of new club cycles. In his victory speech, he laid out his vision for maintaining Real Madrid’s dominance through 2030.

“I’m still here. The members know me. I’m here to defend Real Madrid. We will continue to work so that Real Madrid keeps winning titles,” Perez told club members. Although he did not mention Olise specifically, Perez hinted that top-tier players could be brought in to support Jose Mourinho’s anticipated return to the Bernabeu.

Olise’s role in Munich remains secure

Despite the noise from Spain, Olise remains under a long-term deal with Bayern and is central to Vincent Kompany’s tactical plans. Since moving from the Premier League, the winger has flourished in Germany, reinforcing Bayern’s domestic dominance and earning the admiration of fans.

Bayern’s outright refusal to consider any offers indicates that Real Madrid may need to turn their attention elsewhere for attacking reinforcements. With the German champions declaring Olise off-limits, any hopes Perez had of securing the Frenchman seem to have ended before formal negotiations could even begin.
