Eintracht Frankfurt could be set for a major financial boost this summer, with reports suggesting the club might earn as much as €200 million through player departures.
Under new manager Adi Hütter, Frankfurt are preparing for a squad overhaul, and several key names could be on their way out. According to reports from Bild, Arthur Theate, Hugo Larsson, and Jean-Matteo Bahoya are attracting serious Premier League interest, which could generate around €100 million for the club. Club spokesperson Axel Hellmann has already confirmed, “There will be changes to the squad.”
Arthur Theate, despite enduring a tough season in Frankfurt, has drawn attention from AFC Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest. The 24-year-old defender is reportedly open to a move, with Frankfurt expected to consider offers in the €15–20 million range.
For Swedish midfielder Hugo Larsson, the club are reportedly setting a higher valuation, around €35–40 million. Larsson’s performances dipped after a strong pre-season, leading to his omission from the national squad for the upcoming World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. “He got a call saying he wasn’t part of the squad, and Hugo is completely devastated. He was in contention the whole time, but now he’s out,” a source told Swedish outlet Fotbollskanalen. Larsson has previously been linked with English clubs and Atlético Madrid.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that FC Bayern Munich are pursuing Frankfurt’s promising young defender Nathaniel Brown. Interest is said to be even stronger in Jean-Matteo Bahoya, with Tottenham Hotspur keeping a close eye on the 21-year-old forward. Spurs may move for the Frenchman, who is reportedly valued at €40 million. Bahoya made a strong start to the season, delivering one goal and three assists during a positive spell in February and March, but later missed the entire month of April due to injury.
As for Nathaniel Brown, it appears he could also be on the move soon. The Germany international has reportedly agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich, and negotiations between the clubs are ongoing. Frankfurt are said to be seeking €60 million, while Bayern are hoping to finalise a deal closer to €50 million. Sky reports that Frankfurt will not stand in the way of his transfer.
Another potential exit could be Can Uzun, who has emerged as one of Frankfurt’s brightest talents. The 20-year-old attacking midfielder, who scored ten goals and provided six assists this season, has drawn strong interest from top European sides including AC Milan and SSC Napoli.
However, the first concrete offer could come from Turkey. Journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu reports that Galatasaray are preparing a €40 million bid. That figure is unlikely to meet Frankfurt’s expectations, as Sky claims the club value Uzun at a minimum of €60 million, especially given that his contract runs until 2029.
Uzun’s value could rise further with his performances at the World Cup, where he will represent Turkey. The young midfielder has already impressed in pre-tournament friendlies, contributing a goal and an assist in a 4-0 win over North Macedonia.
