With the help of this feature, while sending any personal information to a friend, partner or colleague, you can send a message without worrying about saving the screenshot or chat. According to the information revealed, Meta-owned WhatsApp is now going to bring the View-Once Text Message feature for users like photos and videos. With the help of which the other person will get to read the sent text message only once. After which he himself will disappear.
How will the new View-Once Text Message feature work?
Describing the upcoming new features of WhatsApp, WABetaInfo revealed that this feature has been seen in Android beta version 2.26.22.7. In the report of which it is being told that the user will have to first type his message and then press and hold the Send button for a few seconds. After this a dropdown menu will appear, in which the option of Send as view once will be available. As soon as the user selects it, he can send his general messages in a special privacy mode. After which the message will automatically get deleted once it is read by the receiver.
Privacy will be stronger than before
Well, you know that for now, View-Once feature has been released for photos, videos and voice notes on WhatsApp. When used, the sent content cannot be saved, forwarded or exported. Apart from this, users cannot also use screenshots and screen recording. This special security system is now being introduced for text messages also. Due to which users’ personal conversations, sensitive information and confidential messages will be kept even more secure.
Spoiler Messages feature will also do wonders
For your information, let us tell you that currently WhatsApp is not only working on View Once Text Message, it is also going to bring another interesting feature Spoiler Messages soon. Under which the message sent will appear blurry to the receiver. Unless the other person taps on that message, its content will not be visible. After the information about such new features is revealed, experts say that this feature is very useful for sharing OTP, password, banking details or other personal information.
Let us tell you that for now both these features are in the development phase. Regarding which it is expected that first they will be released for beta testers and then they will be made available to users all over the world.
