UGC NET June 2026 Exam Schedule: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the subject-wise schedule for the UGC NET June 2026 examination. The exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from June 22 to June 30, 2026. During this period, exams for over 80 subjects will be held across different days in two shifts. Exam to be held in two shifts
The UGC NET June 2026 exam will be conducted in two shifts daily.
First Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Second Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Candidates must reach the exam center at the scheduled time corresponding to their subject.

Exams for these subjects on June 22
On the first day of the exam, June 22, the first shift will cover subjects such as Visual Art, Museology and Conservation, Geography, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, and Labour Welfare and Personnel Management. Meanwhile, candidates for Computer Science and Applications, Persian, Russian, Bengali, Home Science, Music, and Population Studies will take the exam in the second shift.
Final exam on June 30
June 30 will be the final day of the UGC NET examination. The first shift includes subjects such as Economics, Environmental Science, Hindu Studies, Anthropology, Bodo, Gujarati, Sanskrit, Politics and International Relations, and Human Rights and Duties. Exams for Assamese, Sociology, Yoga, Tourism Administration and Management, Adult Education, Archaeology, Odia, Social Medicine and Community Health, Statistics, and Forestry will be conducted in the second shift.
When will the exam city slip be released? According to the NTA, the exam city intimation slip will be released on the official website 8 to 10 days before the examination. This means that for candidates taking the exam on June 22, the exam city slip is likely to be released between June 12 and June 14.

Once the admit card is released, candidates should download it immediately and carefully verify all the details provided therein. Particular attention should be paid to ensuring the correctness of the exam city, exam shift, reporting time, and subject code.
