It is reported that his car was attacked on Saturday night. During this, the protesters threw eggs at his car and raised slogans of ‘chor-chor’. After this incident, a tense atmosphere has been created in the area. Madan Mitra is considered a leader close to TMC chief Mamata Banerjee.

According to the information, this incident happened in Kamarhati on Saturday night. A group of local youth targeted the car of MLA Madan Mitra while protesting. The protesters threw eggs at his car and loudly raised slogans of ‘Chor-Chor’. However, Trinamool MLA Madan Mitra claimed that he was not present in the car at the time of the incident. It is alleged that in this attack the car driver was also assaulted.

It is being told that Madan Mitra was in his party office on Saturday evening. Then he got information about disturbance in ward number 14. As soon as he received this news, he reached the spot. Meanwhile, miscreants allegedly attacked his car. Eggs were thrown at his vehicle and slogans of ‘chor-chor’ were raised, which worsened the situation.

Allegation of assault with driver

After this incident, MLA Madan Mitra made serious allegations. He claimed that he was not in the vehicle at the time, but his driver was assaulted. Madan Mitra described the attack as a well-planned attack by miscreants supported by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He came on Facebook Live and said, “I have seen death very closely.” He alleged that an attempt was made to kill him.

Madan Mitra’s direct allegation against BJP worker Anwar Khan

Madan Mitra pointed fingers at Anwar Khan, a BJP worker, for the incident. He told that this person named Anwar Khan was earlier a member of Trinamool and now supports BJP. The MLA described Anwar as the biggest murderer of Kamarhati and said that he is responsible for whatever happened today. He also raised the issue of police inaction in his Facebook Live. Mitra also said that he would make the CCTV footage public and prove who had committed this act. He said, “I had gone to the block ward office in Dakshineswar when this incident happened.” Madan Mitra alleged live that he was surrounded by miscreants in Dakshineswar and slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ were also raised there. He also drew the attention of Barrackpore DG and CP towards this incident. At present, heated discussion is going on in the political circles regarding this entire episode.
