Bruno Fernandes Shines Again as Portugal Defeat Chile 2-1

Manchester United had several of their players in action during international friendlies on Saturday.

Bruno Fernandes continued his exceptional form, capping off a brilliant season in which he set a new Premier League record with 21 assists. The Portuguese playmaker struck a magnificent long-range goal to help Portugal secure a 2-1 victory over Chile.

Fernandes was influential throughout the match, registering four key passes and creating one major scoring opportunity for his teammates. Impressively, he also completed 100% of his long passes, underlining his precision and control from midfield.

Diogo Dalot featured in the second half of Portugal’s triumph. He made one key pass and had an 86% pass completion rate. The right-back nearly got on the scoresheet but fired his close-range effort over the bar.

Tyler Fletcher made his second appearance for Scotland, coming off the bench for the last ten minutes in a convincing 4-0 win over Bolivia. The youngster was composed in possession, completing all of his passes.

Another United player impressed as England edged past New Zealand 1-0. He made five key passes, completed 82% of his passes, and took two shots, though neither found the target.

Marcus Rashford featured for 45 minutes in the same match, successfully completing one dribble and winning two out of three ground duels during his time on the pitch.

Kobbie Mainoo also played 45 minutes for England. The young midfielder made one key pass, maintained 89% possession accuracy, and completed 100% of both his dribbles and tackles, showcasing his composure and maturity.

Matheus Cunha appeared as a second-half substitute in Brazil’s 2-1 win against Egypt. He recorded one blocked shot, completed 78% of his passes, and won three duels. Former Manchester United midfielder Casemiro started the match for Brazil, contributing one key pass and one shot on goal.

Lisandro Martinez featured for 63 minutes in Argentina’s 2-0 victory over Honduras. He won two of his three aerial duels and completed all of his passes, while also attempting a shot that missed the target.

Hinata Miyazawa played 75 minutes in Japan Women’s dominant 5-0 win over South Africa. The midfielder made one key pass, had one shot on target, and won all of her aerial duels, continuing her strong form for the national side.
