LPG Price Hike: Increase in the price of domestic LPG cylinders, oil companies increased the price by Rs 29.

New Delhi, June 7. Government oil companies have once again increased the prices of LPG gas cylinders. The price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 29. After this, its price in Delhi has increased from Rs 913 to Rs 942. The new price of domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi will come into effect from today i.e. June 7. Earlier on June 1, the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder were also increased.

Oil companies had increased the price of commercial LPG by Rs 42. Including this increase in June, there has been a significant increase in the price of commercial LPG cylinders in the last five months. In February, the price of commercial LPG was increased by Rs 49. This was followed by another increase of Rs 115 in March. The biggest increase of Rs 993 per cylinder was made in April. After this, the rates were changed once again from June 1.

It was reported that the prices were increased due to increase in fuel and transportation costs. Oil marketing companies had also increased the price of 5 kg Free Trade LPG (FTL) cylinders by Rs 11. Recently, the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) was also increased by Rs 2 per kg in Delhi and surrounding areas. From May 15, CNG prices were increased by a total of Rs 6 per kg through four separate revisions.

On May 19, petrol was made costlier by 86 paise per liter and diesel by 83 paise per litre. After this change, the price of petrol in the national capital Delhi became Rs 98.64 per liter and the price of diesel became Rs 91.58 per liter. Earlier on May 15 also, fuel prices were increased. At that time the price of petrol and diesel was increased by Rs 3 per liter and the price of CNG was increased by Rs 2 per kg.
